Panaji's beach, Miramar or Gasper Dias is 3kms from the city centre and spread beyond a small faorest of casurinas.This is a popular beach with joggers,strollers,children and careful peddelers.
VAGATOR BEACH
It is an attractive little bay between rocky headlands with a series of small beaches,though the sea is not always safe for swimming.This beach accomodates a fresh water pool.On the north-west corner of the city are the remains of the Chapora fort,well preserved, offering some splendid views from its ramparts.
Vagator is a good vacation option for sea enthusiasts and an ideal place for people with small budgets but lots of time with them.
